Some of my favorite things:
Film: watching movies, editing movies, helping students express themselves through film.
Food: cooking and baking and watching Food Network all the time!
Baseball: Gotta be the Rays!
Reading: There is nothing better. Whether you need an escape from reality, want to learn something new, gain compassion and empathy for others unlike yourself, or travel to other lands...you can find it in the pages of a book.
Technology/Digital Media: I love all things tech...the possibilities are endless!

Hello, I'm Ms. Telesco and this is my 15th year of teaching in Manatee County Schools. I had the privilege to be on the team that opened Rowlett Middle Academy, an experience I will forever treasure.

A little about me: I am originally from NJ, I'm a graduate of Muhlenberg College in  PA and I attended graduate school at Stetson University here in FL. I am certified as an Educational Media Specialist (K-12), and in Middle Grades English (6-8).

I have two daughters who both attended Rowlett Academy (elementary). My oldest works for a local news channel, and my youngest is a student at Clemson University.
